Do you need a Health Coach?

When I tell people that I'm a Health Coach, I often get asked "so what does a health coach do exactly?" and to be honest before I became a Health Coach I had never heard of one before either. 

Health coaching is a relatively new profession and one that is becoming more and more recognised as playing an incredibly important role in the Health industry. And this is because health coaches work with individuals to create real lasting habit change. 

If you think of an athlete, every athlete has a coach who will guide them, support them and stretch them to be the best that they can be. They will hold them accountable to take consistent action towards achieving their goals and will support them through any challenges and obstacles they face. 

This is the same for Health Coaches. A health coach will guide, support and hold a person accountable to reach their desired health goal. Whether that be to lose weight, reduce stress, increase energy, develop healthier eating habits etc. Health coaches support people to be the healthiest version of themselves that they can be. 

When you want to make healthy changes in your life, it can be easy to get overwhelmed or confused about where to even begin, or you may even know what you need to do, but still not take the action to get the results. So by having someone guide you through a step by step process and support you to take action so that you successfully achieve your goals, is a game changer.
