A Self Nourishment Menu

I love a Self Nourishment Menu! You can create one by simply listing all the things you love to do, all the things that fill you up from the inside out and make you smile, so that you can easily refer to it as a guide for whenever your mind, body or soul needs nourishing (aka like everyday!). 

Your Self Nourishment Menu is there for you whenever you need a little playfulness, pleasure, relaxation, adventure or sweetness in your life. Its there for you to refer to whenever you're feeling bored, sad, lonely or stressed. So next time you're feeling bored and you want to reach for a block of chocolate, go to your Nourishment Menu instead and choose something from the whole array of options that will fill you up in a nourishing way. 

Choose one thing from the list each day so that you are consistently nourishing all parts of you. 

Here are some of the things I have on my personal Self Nourishment Menu:

  • Listen to music
  • Take a walk in nature
  • Do some yoga / pilates
  • Use essential oils
  • Read a good book
  • Meditate
  • Listen to a podcast
  • Spend time with family and friends
  • Have an epsom salt bath
  • Make a green juice / smoothie
  • Cook a healthy nutritious meal
  • Get a massage / facial
  • Go Shopping
  • Buy some fresh flowers
  • Do some stretching / breathing exercises
  • Sit and relax
  • Drink a cup of herbal tea
